I have 'Bandicut' and I use that to cut videos. But I just realised, when I do that and it creates the video into a new mp4 video, the quality is lower, why is this? Is there an alternative in order to get the same quality as the original? If that makes sense.

I have no experience with Bandicut but I believe if you use high speed mode it should just cut the section you want without any encoding?

1) With [High-Speed mode], you can quickly cut/merge videos without converting (encoding) them and without decreasing the quality.



2) If you can't use [High-Speed mode], you must use [Encoding mode] of Bandicut.
In Bandicut Encoding mode, if you set the file size to the "original size"(#5 of the image below) and select the quality to 100(#4 of the image below), you can get a better quality video.
