I want to make a video by power director 16:9. However, there are several problems which make it fail

1.the video i recorded is 4:3, how can i make it to 16:9
2. No sounds when i drag it to the powerdirector
3. what setting should i set if i want to make a 1080 video

Try to use presets provided by default. The "Sony Vegas/Premiere/Pinnacle should works well. If it still doesn't work, try to change audio setting to "MPEG L2".
You can adjust video resolution setting "1920x1080" instead of "Full size".

You can change the Aspect Ratio in Power Director. Just go to Edit in the menu and choose Aspect Ratio. That will allow you to change it from 4:3 to 16:9.
