Plays back perfectly, but stops!!!

I've had Bandicam for about a year now. I could never get it working properly before -- somehow I always kept getting a Black Screen. Tech Support tried to help, but to no avail.

Strangely, I recently tried it again and the Black Screen problem has vanished. Unfortunately, another has
taken its place.

It seems Bandicam can now record both Sound and Motion perfectly. But for some reason when I play back
a 2 minute recording, ONLY 20 to 25 seconds will play, then THE SCREEN FREEZES THE IMAGE while the music keeps right on playing!

I've tried several times and always get the same result. Soon after 20 seconds has passed, the screen freezes but the music keeps on playing.

(The record method I use is to record inside an almost full-screen rectangle.)

Any ideas?

Try SMPlayer and see if you get the same result

1. Try VLC media player.

2. If you still have the problem, please send the captured video at bandicam@bandisoft.com
You may send the video file through the storage service below:
- Dropbox (2GB~): http://www.dropbox.com/
- The free account can upload up to 2GB or higher. (Files uploaded to Dropbox via the desktop application have no file size limit.)

I have already tried both VLC Player and Windows Media Player, with the same lack of success in each.

At your request, I have also mailed you two files demonstrating the problem.

One of the services you suggested kept rejecting my User Name, saying it had been used before -- so I used a service called LargeFilesASAP instead. Please let me know if the files do not arrive.

Because I am not certain either of those first files were actually "sent," I have again sent one, this time from TransferBigFiles.com.

I am mentioning this because they would not let me attach an explanatory note.

We have received your video file.
But, we have no idea why you only can record for 20 to 25 seconds.

Please try Hypercam or Camstudio.

Do you have the same problem with Hypercam or Camstudio?

I've never tried either of those. But I *have* tried 4 others, and Bandicam is the only one that comes close to working well. (If only I could get past this "25 seconds" problem.)

Do you think it would help if I tried more recent version of Bandicam? This version is at least 9-10 months old.

I'd even buy it, if I knew it would work. My only concern with installing Hypercam, Camstudio, or even a more recent Bandicam -- is that in the past, installing other "capture" software would sometimes affect the good results I was getting with Bandicam. And I don't want to take a chance on losing that.

(I even suspect that installing and then uninstalling some of those other "capture" programs may have caused the Bandicam "black screen problem" to vanish. All I know for sure, though, is -- *something* did!)

Thanks for your opinion. But I'm asking Bandisoft's tech support people.

Personally, I don't think it's all that obvious.

well, you're running an outdated version, chances are the newer version of the software might resolve issues you are having now..

just saying, its just common sense
