Settings for camcorder capture

Tue Nov 24, 2020 8:09 pm

i have tried looking through but as i search the word settings as a search its causing issues!

I’m wondering if you can advise what the best settings are to capture some old Mini DV tapes I have.
I’m using a windows 10 pc, i5 10th Gen.
I have captured half a dozen or so tapes and just noticed that when people move in the videos, I get lots of lines in the recordings. Watching the video live in the capture window looks fine, so I’m assuming it’s a setting that I have the capture window set to?
Can you give me guide lines as to what is the best settings for quality but doesn’t mean the file is huge.
