Bandicam and licence activation

Wed Oct 30, 2013 8:12 pm

Hello,

For some days I test on my PC the software Bandicam and I will probably buy a license soon. However I have some questions:

1. From what I saw, software activation is unique and if one day I want to transfer the software to another PC, I must first removed the software from the old PC.

My question is: If one day my PC or hard disk becomes unbootable and I did not have uninstalled the software itself. I can always reinstall on a new machine, with my license?

2. I saw Bandicam has been accepted on greenlight of steam. Is there a release date?

Thank you.

1. If you have to re-install Bandicam because of hardware fault and so on, it's totally fine. They're not too strict on that policy.
2. I don't know anything about it myself, so we'll have to wait for Bandicam team.

The software policy on greenlight of steam hasn't been made yet.
We recommend that you just purchase the license from us.

Thank you for the answers, however, the activation is still not very clear to me.

As usual, I format every 2-3 months my PC in order to have a clean system. Do I have problems with the software activation to the new installation ? (And usually, when I reformat I think not necessarily want to uninstall the application before).

Bandicam is a really good software, but I would not make a purchase if the software is no longer usable after my formatting.

Is it possible to have more information about activation ?

Thank you.

Look at it this way: Let's say Bandisoft checks if your license is "logged in" on two computers at the same time.
If it notices that it is, then they deactivate it.

Then let's say you formatted, so the "old" computer info is not "logged in" with the info, because it's not possible anymore, then it won't deactivate the license because you're only logged in one PC.

Thank you for the answer. I finally took a license in the hope that everything will go well.
