Background recording

Does Bandicam allow background recording? I cannot find the setting if it does. Another screen recording program, which I would prefer to not use any more in favor of Bandicam, has a setting to record in the background. I can do other things on the PC while the recording is being made. This of course applies specifically when I am recording a video from another source.

You can use the Game Recording Mode which allows background recording for the programs, apps and games that use the DirectX/OpenGL/Vulkan graphics technologies.

If Bandicam does not detect your recording target, please use the Screen Recording Mode.

We are pleased to inform you that the 'Specific window' recording function was added on Bandicam 7.0.0 and you can now record a selected window even if it is covered by another window.
