Hi,

Love bandicam!

One issue I have is I want to be able to start screen recording from a shortcut without opening Bandicam app. Meaning I want to have bandicam minimized to the system tray and hit a short cut to start recording by letting me select a region and record that area immediately.

Having to open the application to select "record region" is an extra step id like to remove to make my workflow more efficient and fluid!

I just wanted to come here to say exactly this.

I currently use SnagIt cause it has this functionally. I have a hotkey to go straight into drawing a region on screen to either screen record/screenshot.

I want to use bandicam cause it can record at 60fps and it has everything I want except the hotkey to go straight into drawing a region on the screen. Right now you have to open up the window, click the dropdown box, and select "Select a recording area".

The hotkey to "show/hide retangle" is okay but not good enough. When you show the rectangle, you can't close with the X button on the window, and the drawing tools don't show up when you click it.

Hope this gets added soon, and the app would be perfect, thank you!

We recommend you press [X] on the Bandicam main window after selecting a rectangle area.
Then the rectangle window will open directly when you run Bandicam next time and you can start recording by pressing F12 or start real-time drawing mode with Ctrl+Alt+D.

Still, just to reiterate again. I would like a hotkey to immediately start drawing out a rectangle. That's it.

Not the best decision at all, and do it on Ctrl+Shift+F and not be able for changing especially. Almost all IDE use Ctrl+Shift+F for find in fileS (in project). I personally have a lot of asfire with this hotkeys combo. Kindly ask you do it customizable.
