Bandicam recording Minecraft: slow mouse movement.

Mon Nov 04, 2013 6:44 am

When recording Minecraft using Bandicam, I had this problem where when I try to move my head around (in the game), it will move so little it's pointless. When I try to move as fast as possible, it's only a hint faster, still pointless.
My technical facts: Minecraft version 1.5.2, no mods. Bandicam version 1.8.6.321, unregistered. Java version 7, update 45.

Here is a video of me recording Minecraft using Bandicam (moving as fast as I can):

PS: When moving the mouse when using GUIs such as the Chest or Invitory, it works fine... :/

What's your computer specifications? This actually looks like an FPS (Frames Per Second) issue, and your computer might be too slow to record while playing Minecraft.

Well, that would make perfect sense, since my computer run's Minecraft at an average of 5-10 FPS (don't ask how I enjoy it, cuz idk). But then why would it work fine when using GUIs? Hmm... Weird... But it would still explane. Thank you. :) Now I'm forced to find a different video recorder. Don't tell Bandisoft. Lol jk.

Because the GUIs are less demanding than the rest of the Minecraft world. While in the GUI, you're standing still, and there's no need to update the game to show more chunks and such.

On a side note: You most likely won't be able to record at all, if your average FPS is around 10 FPS. All desktop/game recorders need to take some resources to actually encode and write the video file, changing your recording software won't help at all.
