Bandicam causes Mirror's Edge to instantly crash

Hi everyone. :)

So I wanted to record some Mirror's Edge gameplay with Bandicam, but for some reason whenever I press F12 to record the game, it instantly freezes and I got the this program has stopped responding error. Does anybody have any ideas why this could be happening, what's causing it and how to fix it? I've tried using Bandicam to record other games such as World of Warcraft and it works fine. It's only Mirror's Edge that seems to freeze and Fraps doesn't cause it to crash either.

I'm using Bandicam version 1.7.0 and I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit.

May be some hotkey conflicting.

Try changing the hotkey to something else than F12.

Yep, I've tried that. I changed it to F9, but it still crashes. Thanks for trying though. :)

Hmm... there may be some settings in Bandicam that causes the game to crash.

Have you tried running the game in a window and used the "retangle on a screen" method?

Unfortunately, Mirror's Edge doesn't feature have a windowed mode option. :c

It seems that my technological "skills" have failed me once again.
Sorry I can't help you anymore. I have no idea what the problem is. Just one last tip. Try changing the hotkey to something else than "F1-F12". It probably wont work, but, its worth a shot.

Oh yeah, there may be a problem with the Bandicam software. Could be some issues between Bandicam itself and Mirror's Edge. Wish I had a computer that could run the game and I would've tested it.

Hello Draykez,

This is Zun from Bandicam.

Sorry for the late reply.

We have tested your game (Mirror's Edge) both in Windows XP and Windows 7 64-bit
However, we couldn't find any recording problems.

I have 2 solutions for you.

1. Try the latest Bandicam.

2. Re-install your graphic card driver and DirectX program.

Thank you for using Bandicam
