Windows 8.1, Triple 4k monitors, 1080 vidio card, Xplane 11.

I Am trying to record my flights taken in X.Plane11. Setting of the three monitors are those in X=Plane 11 that allow three monitors to be set up as one large screen.
.
1. In screen recording mode I select the centre screen and set and area of rectangle 3420x1991,
Start Xplane 11 and then F12, I see nothing to indicate recording is being carried out.

2. I select, screen recording mode, fullscreen, start xplane 11, press F12, sometimes it starts to record, then goes into slow motion, then frrezes.

3. I select, game recording mode, a FPS counter appears, green, then red when F12 is pressed, game vidio drops to very slow speed and stutters and freezes and black screens all monitors.
On playback it is recording all three monitors on on top of the other.

I would really appreciate your assistance as to what setting I need to use to achieve capture of my centre monitor of the gameplay of xplane 11 so I can then use the editor . I have tried to solve this problem for about a month and am becoming just a little frustrated.
