Bandicut and Windows Media Player

Hi,

I just started using Bandicut. It seems pretty good, but my editted videos do not open them in Windows Media Player. Windows Media Player can play the original videos. VLC media player opens the original and editted videos without issue. It shows the Codec as Codec: H264 - MPEG-4 AVC (part 10) (avc1) on both the original and editted videos. Since the people I am sending the video to are not always computer literate, I want to produce files they can easily open. Asking them to install VLC media player is not going to work.

Is there any way to produce videos in high speed mode that will play in Windows Media Player.

Thanks

Hello!

Could you please send the original video to bandicut@bandicam.com?

We will try to answer the question as soon as we have received your video.

Thank you for the information.

Hello MilesButler,

We could reproduce the bug you mentioned.

If you use the High-speed mode, Bandicut adds 2 sets of video header information.
However, sometimes, "Windows Media Player in Windows 7" doesn't recognize this new header information.

Please try the solution below until we fix this issue.
(It may take several months to solve this problem.)

1. Download LAVFilters from http://files.1f0.de/lavf/LAVFilters-0.65.exe

2. Check "MP4/MOV" formats (You don't have to check other options.)

3. Check "LAV Splitter (x86)" (You don't have to check other options.)

We're sorry for your inconvenience.

Hi,

I tried installing the LAV filter, it lets me play the file on my computer, but does not let me produce files which other people can play on their computers without having to install new software.

Please let me know when you have the underlying issue fixed, and I will try the software again at that time.

Thanks,

Miles

Hi Miles,

We will support a multiple video joining function through the encoding mode in 1~2 months.
And we may have to release a bug-fixed version, and then we will review this case.

We will let you know when we solve this issue.
