Hi all, I an new to this program so please be patient with me.
Is it possible to name a video file after recording instead of the default bandicam name?
I have looked in settings and cannot see anything that will prompt me for a filename after recording. I know that I can go into saved recordings and rename it but there must be an easier way?

Not possible (as of yet). You can make somewhat custom names under 'General > Options > Advanced > Output > File naming settings' albeit with limitations, but the application creates the file with that name instantly upon recording.

If there would have been a prompt afterwards, it wouldn't be much more efficient and take as many clicks as clicking 'Open Output Folder' (the folder icon in the top bar) and renaming the automatically selected file which is the latest one recorded.

I really like this program. I was using Camtasia before and it just asked me to save as, this was where I could name the file.

Hopefully Bandicam will address this in some update in the future.
