Capturing Audio Through Reaper

Wed Aug 16, 2023 12:41 am

Greetings!

I would like to use Bandicam to capture
1: Display 1, video full screen
2: Reaper, fullscreen on Display 1
3: My webcam overlaying Reaper
4: Audio from Reaper.

What I am trying to accomplish is this: Put the webcam on display 1 upper left, with Reaper open on the desktop. This captures my webcam and application. Then I want to capture the audio of Reaper, I'll be playing along on a new electric drumkit to an old song of mine without drums. Since we're recording Display 1, we end up with a backdrop of Reaper with my webcam over it. That I can get. I cannot get the audio tho. I've tried just about every normal thing: ASIO and DirectSound for audio, video capture is simple-i put the webcam up and record the whole display. I should end up with a 2560x1440 video with audio supplied by either Reaper or window's audio stream.

Help?

Hello,

Bandicam can't record the output of an ASIO device because ASIO bypasses the audio of the Windows operating system.
Other recording programs also have the same issue.

You may try Voicemeeter or ASIO4All to record the audio from Reaper.

Thank you.
