Bandicam sound problem!

Fri May 27, 2011 3:45 am

Hello.

I have recorded several videos and when I watch them they all look fine, nice picture quallity and nice sound. (I am doing commentary) But when I upload the videos on Youtube I cannot hear me commenatry the video. But I do hear the game sound?

If I cannot make commenatry videos with bandicam I'll have to buy fraps (unfortunately). What do you guys think is the problem?

I got
Windows 7 64 bit
and I have tried custom settings and several other options (PCM instead and MPEG- 1 L2)

Hello,

I think that you have created a video with two audio tracks using Secondary sound device.
Youtube does not support two different audio tracks.
Therefor, You should mix audio tracks using sony vegas or any program like that before uploading to Youtube.

So I have to buy another program to be able to make commenatry videos? That's a bummer, why not make the auido compatible with youtube in the first place? Or why not make an audio option that makes it Youtube compatible?

Hello,

You don't have to use the secondary sound device to make the commenatry video.
The secondary sound device is used for a special purpose - such as Skype recording.

However, as you mentioned, it's annoying when Bandicam user is using the secondary auido device.
So sooner or later, we will make a secondary audio merging option to compatible with youtube.

If you already used the secondary audio device, you should merge the audio file by video editing software.
Sorry for your inconvenience.

Best Regards,
Zun

I have this same problem.

However, I HAVE two video editing programs, both of which can support two audio tracks, but neither can play my voice-over.

I want to record a video commentary on my game, and when I play the file in Windows Media Player, it works fine. However, the file does nothing in DivX plus player.

Is there a way to fix this so that I can record my voiceover as I play the game?

Hello,

'Secondary sound device' is used for a special purpose like Skype recording
You don't have to use 'secondary sound device' for a normal recording.
- If you use Windows XP, 'STEREO MIX' setting is enough
(http://www.bandicam.com/faqs/no_sound_r ... x_problem/)
- If you use Window 7/Vista, 'Win7 sound (WASAPI)' setting is enough.
I HAVE two video editing programs, both of which can support two audio tracks, but neither can play my voice-over.
=> Which video editing program do you use?
If you use Adobe Premiere or Sony Vegas, you should change the settings of Bandicam.
See http://www.bandicam.com/faqs/how_to_edi ... ing_video/
the file does nothing in DivX plus player.
=> I think your DivX plus player doesn't support 2 audio sound.
Is there a way to fix this so that I can record my voiceover as I play the game?
=> You should convert the video using 2 audio supporting program - Sony Vaga, Adobe Premiere
=> Sooner or later, we will make a secondary audio merging option to support 2 audio more easily.

Thank you for using Bandicam

I did do that, but when I record it doesn't have my voice. So I enabled secondary sound device and my voice is on the video clip, but when I try to edit it in Sony Vegas, it removes the sound.

When can we expect the new update which enables us to use 2 audio tracks?

Hello,

1. To edit your video with Sony Vegas, you have to choose "PCM" Audio of Bandicam.
Image

2. If you choose "PCM" audio and record the target, you can see "2 audio" in Sony Vegas.

3. Many media players, converters and YouTube don't support "2 audio".
So, Bandicam will offer audio mixing function in 2~3 months.
- Now : Primary+Secondary sound device => Result: "2 audio"
- Later: Primary+Secondary sound device => Result: "1 audio" (audio mixing function)

Thank you for using Bandicam. :)

so, I see this hasn't been fixed yet. I have the same problem.
Does anyone know of any video editing programs that can combine the two audio tracks of my already made videos? I used vista sound and my microphone for the two audio tracks in bandicam, and I want to upload to YouTube. I can't make the videos again, because i have over 10 hours of recording, and I found out the second track gets muted in YouTube.

This is incredibly frustrating! Please help!
