File Size

I did a video that was about one minute and was going to use it for a podcast that was my reason for purchasing Bandicam. But the "1 minute" test ended up being about 19 Meg in size. So for a 30 minute
podcast it would end up being about 600 gig. Does that make sense? Is there something I can do about the size?

Thks

Hello,

This is Zun from Bandicam.

1. Your file size might be 600MB for 30 minutes (=20MB*30minutes)
This file size is extremely smaller than other capture software.

2. If you want to reduce the file size in Bandicam, click "Settings" button under the Video tab, and then change the video settings like below:
bandicam_file_size.jpg
bandicam_file_size.jpg (147.42 KiB) Viewed 10803 times
1. Video Size: Full size => 480*320 (for ipod) or half size (?)
2. FPS : 30 FPS => 15 FPS (?)
3. Quality : 80% => 50% (?)

This changes can reduce the file size.

3. You can also use "Video Converting Software" to reduce the file size

Best Regards,
Zun

true , if you use other recording software like "Fraps" to record full screen then it would be 4GB for 2 mins +- :D So which one you prefer ?? :mrgreen:
