I have the bought version of Fraps. Im using it to record the MMORPG Rift. Curious if this program is better than Fraps.

If anybody can give me some feedback it would be appreciated.

This is a serious question im very interested in buying if it is a good program.

It's a lot better than Fraps, but it may rise the CPU usage just because it compresses the videos (As far as I know).
Bandicam doesn't have the same file sizes as Fraps. It also has more functions to it. Like recording specific parts of your screen. I recommend you buying Bandicam.

Bandicam is far more better in game recording .. at least to me it is but there is one thing .. Bandicam often have FPS overlay problem with the latest game .. example the latest Bandicam 1.7.4 having problem to show FPS in F1 2011 DX11 mode and Rage . Even though if they fix this problem in 1.7.5 version you will found that the 1.7.5 version have some recording or FPS overlay problem again for the game that is latest at that time

In short .. even you have the latest Bandicam in hand you might find there is still some new game is not supported by it (problem like no FPS overlay / Cant record / or record with no sound / record sound only ....)
