Play doesn't work with mp4 files on network drive

Upon completion of BandiCut processing, a 'Play' button is presented.
When I output my mp4 files to an internal drive, the play button successfully starts the playback of the file. But, when the mp4 file is stored on a network drive, the 'Play' button has no effect.
I would like to be able to playback mp4 files regardless of their destination.
