pre-recording/buffering

Mon Nov 14, 2011 12:31 pm

I hope everyone knows what I mean :)

like in fraps/playclaw, you hold down the record button until the fps display changes color and it starts buffering everything
As soon as you press the button again the last xx seconds and how ever long you decide to record from that point on, will be saved.

is this feature coming anytime soon or have I completely missed it and it's alrdy in? (haven't updated in a while) :)

Bandicam is the only recording software out, that allows me to record from 2 fully customizable audio channels and I can't live without it anymore.

But recording hours and hours of gameplay and then having to sort through a shitton of videos is just a big PITA and I can't be asked to buy another HDD at the current price rate ;)

@up agree, pre-recording is excellent if you recording stuff in multiplayer games, this save a lot of time and HDD space. imo it is the last step for Bandicam to become best record tool :D

Hi, i think this function is not only useful, but very much needed for gamers.
Any info if / when you plan to implement it?

Its the only really missing feature from this software for me.

Thanks in advance,

Overwolf has a function called Shoot To Record that starts recording only when you press the left mouse button and a few seconds after you release it, so you can record your kills only and save the best ones. You can even watch the playbacks and upload them to youtube while still in-game.

Maybe this could be an alternative to pre-recording for the dev team to consider if pre-recording isn't possible? It's much easier than having to press a recording key manually every time you made a good kill.

Registered just to post this. Please, please, PLEASE add pre-recording. It is the only thing I miss in bandicam. At this moment I'm using Bandicam for long records and Playclaw for pre-recording. And I don't really want to use two applications and want to stick with Bandicam. PLEASE!

I don't want to nag but this has been asked before. Have a search for it.
At first, Bandicam wasn't interested in adding this, but more and more requests are coming in about it, so they might change their mind.
