When Bandicam is on, the game freezes

Hi,
Last month, in December, I got a new laptop - an MSI Thin GF63 with 16GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 GPU with 8GB of VRAM. Whenever I start recording my games with Bandicam, things get weird. The game will freeze up for a few seconds, then unfreeze and run normally for a bit before freezing again. This never happened on my old Lenovo, which had a much weaker graphics card. So, it seems like the issue must be with this new laptop.
But my CPU and GPU usage according to Task Manager is always pretty low, around 38% on average. So I'm not sure why recording would cause these freezing issues. Do you think the problem is with Bandicam not playing nice with this laptop? Or could it be something up with the laptop itself? It only happens with one game, the others work fine. Like I said, the laptop is new.
Any insights would be appreciated.
