I have a big suggestion for you, that is maybe a little bit difficult to make
I´ve used Bandicut for quite a long time now and I use it to convert videos for YouTube or to cut away things.
But what I would really like to use, is a program, that you can use for professionally and detailed Video cutting.
I´ll give you a short imagination on what I mean:
1.
--You are able to cut two or more videos together and put maybe a little transition between them.
2.
--You are able to split a video part to have more cutting possibilities.
3.
--You are able to put your own audio files into the video.
4.
--You can convert the Video to different file formats (as you can do with Bandicut)
5.
--You are able to add photos to the Video
6. (EXTRA)
--You can put a text onto the Video (like "My new video text")
7.(EXTRA)
--You can put a decreased video onto a big video (like showing a detailed view of something)
8.(EXTRA)
--You can change the resolution of the video

So... I now that there would be VERY much work to do, to make a program with those functions, so only do it if you really want to.
It would be very cool!

Please try the encoding mode of Bandicut.

Let me add my vote for the ability to put a transition between merged segments. It doesn't have to be complicated--a blank space would do; even so much as a blocky dissolve would be great.

Thanks to the authors of this really great program by the way. It's freed me from Windows Live Movie Maker.
