Alright, so I had used Bandicam for awhile, and it was working fine. 60 FPS, good quality, and a good recorder. Then, suddenly, it didn't record correctly. I didn't change any settings to my knowledge -- just one day, it could only record at 5-10 FPS. I tried everything to fix it, and eventually just had to settle for another recorder. After a long time, I've come back and tried it again, hoping that it was fixed in an update or something, but I'm running into the same problem.
And this isn't the typical video recording FPS drop, because it ran fine prior to this happening approximately 4-5 months ago. My game is reduced to a permanent 5-10 FPS, and if I click on something in-game, it automatically stops recording. I've tried recording without sound, reducing the recording quality to the lowest it could go, and nothing works. No matter what I do, it's stuck at this low FPS that instantly stops recording if I do anything. No video actually appears, either. Bandicam acts like it's recording, but no video is actually recorded.
I record to an external hard drive normally, but I've tried both my main hard drive and external and the same problem occurs.
My specs:
CPU: Intel i7 860 @2.8GHz
Graphics Card: Nvidia GTX 470
RAM: 4GB DDR3 RAM
OS: Windows 7 Home Edition 32-bit
Any thoughts as to why this would be happening? Keep in mind that up until this started happening a few months ago, Bandicam was working fine, and one day it just stopped working properly.
