Trimming videos still strips subtitles

Hello there.
I purchased Bandicut to be able to make some quick edits to security and training videos, but have some users that need subtitles as they are hearing-impaired. Is there any progress or a target time/version that using Bandicut will keep the subtitle tracks in the video?

Thanks.

Hello,

Are you trying to cut an .mkv file?
The current version of Bandicut doesn't support the subtitles in an .MKV file.

We have forwarded your request to the development team.

Yes, I was trying to cut an MKV file. I hope you're able to implement this soon.

Thanks.

Is it the MKV container that’s the problem? Will subs be maintained if the original video format is ts, m2ts, iso, etc…? This is a pretty big issue because once the video is trimmed (section of the video removed) there’s no way to add subs without a lot of effort to precisely edit of the original subtitles.
