Activating License for multi-user device

Hello,

I'm running into an issue where we need to run bandicam at user login recording the entire screen for the duration of the user session.

We've purchased 2 business licenses as we have 2 pc's to run this on. However, it appears that I am struggling with the licensing aspect. How is licensing stored on the device? How can we ensure that the license is active for EVERY user that logs into the device? These users are not administrators, so running the command /reg doesn't seem to work (even as an elevated user).

Any advice would be appreciated.

I understand, and I have done that on each device. However, whenever a new user logs in it is unregistered again. Do I have to activate it per user? It's not a computer license at that point then?

Hello,

Sorry, our previous answer was insufficient.

We have two solutions for you.

1. If you use Bandicam 5.2.0 or older versions, and register the license with the administrator's privilege, other uses on the same PC will be able to use the full version.
However, this feature will not be applied to a new user.

2. If you use Bandicam 5.2.1 or newer versions, we recommend using Windows's REGEDIT function.
It will allow you to apply the same setting to multiple users on the same PC.

If you export the Bandicam settings by entering the command below, you will get a 'bandicam.reg' file.
REGEDIT /E c:\bandicam.reg "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\BANDISOFT\BANDICAM\OPTION
Once you have clicked the 'bandicam.reg' file when a new user logs into the device for the first time, the new user can use the full version with the same settings.

We hope this helps.
