Video Cut or Crop?

Hello,

In the online How-To
https://www.bandicam.com/video-cutter/
you simply forgot to mention if I set the start and end point making a segment then will Bandicot remove or keep this segment? Not all the same. There is not a single word "crop" anywhere, only "cut", "trim", "split" "merge", but nowhere to find how to crop. Then I realized, you are using the "cut" word for both the cut and crop operations.
As far as I know, when I cut something, this will be removed. And when I crop something, this will be kept.
This two are opposites. And you do use only the cut word. It may seem like a small thing, but it's not, it causes annoyance. I have since realized ( because I had to) that the selected segment will be kept. But then why do you call the operation as a "cut"? Here:

How to Cut a Video Segment You Want to Use

I suggest instead:
How to Crop a Video Segment
to display here along with the other operations

Thanks, best regards!
Alfred

Hello,

Using the word "Crop" instead of "Cut" can be confusing. This is because the phrase crop can mean moving or adjusting the edges of an image or video clip.
