I do video editing with game clips. if you slow down video at 60 FPS past .5 playback speed you are now under 30 FPS, and this will start to become choppy. recording at 120FPS lets you slow down video to .25 speed while still keeping about 30 FPS making for a nice slow effect. Alright then. I see no reason to not let the user enter in their own desired FPS rate however. Sure you can only see about 60-75 FPS, but I'm doing a lot more with this video than just uploading to youtube.

While I can't download and test it myself at the time [work], have you tried to download the newest version of the Xvid codec? Also, will this happen for each codec setting?

With the new version of Bandicam you can input a numerical FPS cap. However it seems no matter what you enter in there, the video is recorded at 60 FPS. I currently own Fraps and use it to record games at 120 FPS. The high fps is very needed for slowing anything down so it still looks smooth. I want...
