record 2 specific windows simultaneously....

Thu Dec 07, 2023 9:09 pm

Can I record 2+ specific windows simultaneously?

Or do I need to launch a separate instance of bandicam? (copy bandicam.exe to a separate folder).

----------
Also, can the specific window capture the mouse movement? It doesn't look like it. It just captures the window activity. But no mouse movement within.

-------------
Will the specific window capture be improved to capture context and mouse click menus or popups that are generated by that specific window (child windows)?

Hello 4EverMaAT,

Yes, you can record 2 or more specific windows if you run multiple instances of Bandicam after copying the folder.

Since it only captures the one window you specify, the mouse right-click context menu or additional popup menus in Photoshop won't be recorded. Use 'Rectangle on a screen' or 'Fullscreen' recording mode to record all popups and menus.

Thank you.

Yes, you can record 2 or more specific windows if you run multiple instances of Bandicam after copying the folder.
So does each folder's instance of bdcam.exe save the video preferences separately (where files are saved, continuous recording options, video format, window to record in that folder, auto-start when launched.

So when launched, closed, relaunched, these separate settings will be retained?

And if I launch a different instance of bdcam.exe (separate folder), they will have their own settings????

Hello 4EverMaAT,

You can save the video preferences separately only once.
So when launched, closed, relaunched, these separate settings will be retained?
The last settings are saved when you relaunch.
Since the settings are saved to the registry, it is impossible to keep the preferences separately.

We're sorry that we couldn't give you the answer you wished for.

Thank you.

I would like to vote for an option to check folder ini file for some of the settings; so to either remove it from the registry, or override the registry.

So we can migrate bandicam to scale projects across several folders.
