Bandicam 5.3.4.1894 needs High Priority

Mon Dec 06, 2021 11:24 pm

Not a big issue, since the option is already there. I encountered dropped frames when recording with latest version (it says 5.3.4 in the software itself, but downloads says it is 5.3.3).

Previously I have always been ok with "Normal" priority, no dropped frames.

Just putting it out there in case someone else suddenly gets dropped frames now.

All games... old ones, new ones.. but yeah all "newer" ones, ie from 2019 on. I noticed dropped frames from Control, AC Valhalla and Watch Dog Legions, then I tried a slightly older one, Ghost Recon Breakpoint. All had dropped frames.

Setting HIGH priority fixed it.

Update/Edit - Hmm I just re-tweaked my Nvidia settings and removed the anisotropic clamp... now Bandicam doesn't need to be HIGH priority. Normal priority is fine now.
