With the free version you can record for up to 10 minutes per file with a watermark ("www.bandicam.com" on top of the video). With the registered version there is no time limit.
Ther is an option in bandicam under FPS tab called "Set FPS limit to". Check if is active or disabled. If is active, just disable it or set an higher limit.
