So I was using an older version of the software, 5.1 something. So I went onto the website and seen it's up to version 7.1.2.2.2451. I did an initial 20 minute recording and had no problems. So then I went to record a game I was playing, and I played for around 48 minutes. So I was skipping through the recording and everything looks fine. I know I seem to have problems later on in the video, sound starts to get out of sync with the video and then lag.
So at 40:59 in my recorded video, there's a slow spot, and then a couple seconds later the recorded video stops at 41:05. Both video and audio stopped completely until 41:36 and then it resumed. I haven't watched the rest of the video because that is not supposed to happen.
Since getting this latest version of the Bandicam software, I changed the quality setting from 80 to 90, but even still, there shouldn't be any lag. And here's the kicker, on Windows 7 Pro I was using the YouTube 1080p Preset. Last time I tried that preset on here, the whole thing just went nuts on me.
Bandicam has already suggested I uninstall and reinstall my GPU driver, turn off enhanced mode, I set recording priority to high, I lowered the quality from 80 to 60, none of what I did or what Bandicam suggested I do, worked last time, and I highly doubt those same things will work.
I believe it's poor compatibility between Windows 10 and the Bandicam software.
Any community members out there who have had success with Windows 10 and Bandicam or am I screwed on this and have to get something different? I can't keep doing this with this software. I have OBS but I hear it's way harder to use for screen recording.
My PC Specs as follows:
AMD FX-8300 @ 3.3 GHz
32GB RAM
windows 10 Pro
NVIDIA GTX 970
sound card is on-board
Thanks for anyone who can help out.
