Hi,
Today I have installed the trial versions of Bandicam and Bandicut. I like the idea of quickly cut/merge my game videos with the Bandicut [High-Speed mode] without converting (encoding) them and without decreasing the quality, but wanted to test the apps before buying it.
So I made a quick test by recording a game video in game mode:
1. Recorded two separate videos with Bandicam
2. Joined the videos in Bandicut with [High-Speed mode]
3. Cut out a part in the middle of the joined video
4. Finished the video with [High-Speed mode]
But the results were quite irritating.
1. The two original videos had 56.320 KB and 47.474 KB, but after joining them (before cutting), the joined video had 260.146 KB. Why it has more then double the size if joining in [High-Speed mode] is without converting (encoding) ?
But much more important:
2. After joinig the two videos with [High-Speed mode] I noticed a disturbingly violent video distortion at the end of the video where the
Bandicut trial version watermark seems to appear. And after cutting and finishing the video with [High-Speed mode] I had the same video distortion not only at the end but also at the cutting point !
So at this point I very much wonder if this would be the result too if I would buy the two apps, which in my opinion would make them pretty useless.
If you wish I can send you the finished video via Dropbox so you can have a look at yourself at the disappointing result.
