Video recording freeze on long screen recording. (Only audio play from the half of the length)

Mon Feb 12, 2024 7:30 pm

Hi, i just finished recording my meeting session with bandicam, since the zoom host don't turn on the recording permission.

The video was 5hrs long, it was pause and resume recording. After i finished the meeting, i play the video, but the video was freeze after just half of the video length, the rest of it just audio playback. I attached my format preset below.

So, this is an error or it just because of me pause and resume recording?

My spec :
- Thinkpad X280
- 16gb Ram
- Windows 11 Pro

Hello fndrsm,

Please note that the zoom meeting screen disappears when the host starts sharing the screen.
The recording will stop once the target screen you have specified disappears.
Also, we recommend you install the latest version of Bandicam and select the H264(CPU) codec for the stable recording.

Thank you.

I see, hmm still i dont know whats the problem. maybe because i pause and resume the recording. and maybe also the length of the recording that exceed 2hrs may cause this.

Or maybe you were right, that was because the host re-share screen couple times during the record.

FYI, i have tried h264, but somehow my fan spinning quite a loud than when i was using h265 even i think it uses the same load (both CPU on GPU) from the task manager.

But thanks for the reply, i will try you suggestion tomorrow.
